Midnight Toymaker is developed by Misaligned Games (“we”, “us”).
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how the game is played and improve it. PostHog collects anonymous product-analytics events (e.g. which features you use), an anonymous device identifier, and an approximate (country-level) location derived from your IP address. We do not collect your name, email, or precise location, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
When you craft a toy, the combination of parts and tools you chose is sent to our servers (Supabase, EU) where an AI model generates your unique toy. These requests contain only the in-game combination — no personal information.
PostHog, Supabase and Google (AI generation) act as our data processors. Data is stored on EU infrastructure where available and is always encrypted in transit.
The app requests the INTERNET permission to craft toys and send anonymous analytics events.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
